Template for attorney review. This page is a starting point, not a finished legal document. Have a Florida attorney review it before you rely on it.
Who we are
CrashAid is a free attorney referral service for Florida car accident matters. CrashAid is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. This policy describes how information submitted on crashaid.co is handled.
Information you give us
When you use a form or the chat assistant, we collect the details you type: your name, phone number, email address, city, a description of what happened, and, if you include them, a law firm name, bar number, or document file names. The chat also stores the transcript of that conversation.
Optional document uploads are stored with the lead when the file is small enough to accept. Do not upload anything you are not comfortable sharing with a referral service and with participating attorneys.
Information collected automatically
If you arrive from an ad or another site, we may store the page you landed on and campaign parameters such as utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, and gclid. We use those values to understand which page a request came from. We also keep a short-lived server-side count of submissions from an IP address to limit spam. We do not use that count as a marketing profile.
How we use and share it
We use contact details to follow up about the request you submitted. For an accident request, that includes sharing your name, phone, email, city, and the description you provided with participating Florida attorneys so they can decide whether to contact you. For an attorney application, we use the details to review a request to join the network.
We do not sell your information. We may also share it if the law requires it, or with a vendor that stores leads or sends the notification email for us, only so the request can be delivered.
Calls and texts
If you submit a form or the chat, you agree that CrashAid and participating attorneys may contact you by phone, text message, or email about that request. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of receiving a referral. You can tell us to stop contacting you when someone reaches you.
How long we keep it
We keep lead records so the request can be answered and so we have a record of what was submitted. Retention depends on the storage location configured for the site. Asking us to delete a request does not erase copies an attorney already received.
Children
This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
