Florida cities where CrashAid takes car accident referrals

Short answer

CrashAid refers people hurt in Florida car crashes to participating attorneys. These pages cover Tampa Bay first, then other cities the site already lists. Each page names the county courthouse people actually use. CrashAid is not a law firm, and a request does not mean a lawyer will take the case.

How to use this list

Start with the city where the crash happened, or the city where you live if the crash was on a highway between towns. The city page names the circuit courthouse that handles cases from that county. It does not rank lawyers and it does not promise that anyone will accept a case.

If your city is not listed, you can still send a request. The network is for Florida crashes, and the form asks for the city so a person can route the inquiry.

  • Tampa

Hillsborough County circuit cases are filed at the George E. Edgecomb Courthouse on Twiggs Street in downtown Tampa.

  • St. Petersburg

St. Petersburg civil filings use the Sixth Circuit judicial building at 545 1st Avenue North. The main criminal courthouse is not that downtown building.

  • Clearwater

Pinellas filings use the Clearwater Courthouse at 315 Court Street and the Justice Center at 14250 49th Street North.

  • Brandon

Brandon is in eastern Hillsborough County. Circuit cases are filed at the Edgecomb Courthouse in downtown Tampa, not at a Brandon courthouse.

  • Riverview

Riverview is in southern Hillsborough County. Circuit cases are filed at the Edgecomb Courthouse in Tampa.

  • Wesley Chapel

Wesley Chapel has no courthouse. Pasco circuit courts sit at the Sumner Judicial Center in Dade City and the West Pasco Judicial Center in New Port Richey.

  • Lutz

Lutz is in northern Hillsborough County. Circuit cases are filed at the Edgecomb Courthouse in Tampa. The cited Dale Mabry segment ends at Bearss, south of Lutz.

Palm Harbor is in north Pinellas County. Circuit courts are in Clearwater, at 315 Court Street and 14250 49th Street North.

  • Orlando

Orange County cases are filed at the Orange County Courthouse, 425 N. Orange Avenue, in downtown Orlando. That is the Ninth Judicial Circuit.

  • Lakeland

Polk County's main courthouse is in Bartow at 255 N. Broadway Avenue. The clerk also has a counter at the Lakeland Government Center, 930 E. Parker Street.

  • Kissimmee

Osceola County cases are filed at the Judge Jon B. Morgan Courthouse, 2 Courthouse Square, Kissimmee.

  • Winter Haven

Winter Haven has no separate circuit courthouse. Polk County filings go to the courthouse in Bartow, with a clerk counter in Lakeland.

  • Sarasota

The Sarasota clerk's historic courthouse is at 2000 Main Street. Jury matters use the Judge Lynn N. Silvertooth Judicial Center at 2002 Ringling Boulevard.

  • Bradenton

Manatee County cases are filed at the Judicial Center, 1051 Manatee Avenue West. The clerk's physical office is at 1115 Manatee Avenue West.

  • Fort Myers

Lee County cases use the Justice Center at 2075 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Another public entrance and mailing address is 1700 Monroe Street.

  • Naples

Collier County cases are filed at the Collier County Courthouse, 3315 Tamiami Trail East, Naples.
